Maia Homes’ Show Pa to open soon

High-quality, affordable Marae designs that can be moved to your site.Following the construction of a two-bedroom ‘Waka’ home at our site in Whakatane, Maia Homes and Aotearoa Construction are pressing ahead with the creation of a complete Show Pa.

Wharenui, Wharekai and Wharepaku buildings will be constructed in partnership with Ngati Awa. The buildings are pre-fabricated and will include a complete fit-out from kitchen supplier Burns & Ferrell and other partners. We believe the Show Pa will give Marae committees and other interested purchasers the chance to experience the quality of the designs and construction for themselves. Artists’ impressions are fine, but nothing beats walking around the real thing.

As with all Maia designs, a sensitive and stylish take on Maori culture and design has been the driver for the architects. The exterior cladding, joinery and plan combine with modern, stylish interiors to complete the experience.
